Demonstrating its commitment to improving standards, Diamond Build Group has achieved three industry accreditations.

Assessed by BM TRADA, a global testing, inspection, and certification company, the Group has been awarded the new ISO 45001 standard. Internationally recognised, the accreditation recognises organisations that have robust health and safety systems in place.

Following further assessments, the Group has also retained its ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) accreditations, which will be in place until August 2024.

John Gray, chairman of Diamond Build Group, said: “As an organisation that specialises in meeting the public sector’s construction needs, these accreditations are crucial as they demonstrate our drive to continuously improve our operations and deliver best practice.

“Achieving the highest standards of quality, environmental management, and health and safety are all fundamental to successful construction projects, and we are proud to be recognised for our proactive approach.”

The achievements follow Diamond Build Group’s recent Investors in People Gold award. The rigorous assessment process looked at the organisation’s performance across a number of areas ranging from the way employees are managed through to training and development opportunities.

The Group is now taking part in the Investors in People – “We invest in Apprentices’ – scheme. The Government-backed accreditation has been developed to ensure high-quality apprenticeships are consistently delivered across the UK. It provides a framework to help

benchmark the effectiveness of apprenticeship schemes and inform action plans to continually improve performance.
